Frequently asked questions
What are Sprites in Fortnite?
Sprites are collectible companions introduced as the headline feature of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. When equipped, a Sprite floats with you and grants a passive ability. You find Sprites during a match, extract them to keep them, and can summon collected Sprites in later matches.
How do you get Sprites?
You find Sprites in Sprite Chests and other spots on the map during a match. To keep a Sprite permanently, you must extract it before the match ends. Once extracted, the Sprite is added to your collection and can be summoned again later using Sprite Dust.
How does Sprite extraction work?
Extraction Sites become active after the first circle closes. You can extract a Sprite at an Extraction Site terminal, which takes about 30 seconds and attracts attention, with a single-use Portable Extractor, which is faster and quieter, or automatically by winning the match. Dying mid-extraction at a terminal cancels it.
What is Sprite Dust and how much do Sprites cost?
Sprite Dust is the currency earned by extracting Sprites. You spend it between matches to summon Sprites you have already collected. Summon costs rise with rarity, with community-reported values of around 100 for Rare, 3,000 for Epic, 5,000 for Legendary, and 7,500 for Mythic, and higher costs for special variants.
What are the Sprite rarities and variants?
Sprites come in four rarity tiers: Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. Many Sprites also have cosmetic variants such as Gold, Gummy, and Galaxy. Variant availability changes over time as the game updates, so some variants may not be obtainable in every period.
What is Power Hour?
Power Hour is a recurring timed event that boosts how quickly Sprites level up or raises the spawn rate of featured Sprites. Specific timings and featured Sprites rotate, so check the current schedule before each event.
Are Sprite drop rates official?
No. Epic Games does not publish official drop rates for Sprites. Any percentages you see, including ours, are community estimates gathered from data mining and player reports. They vary between sources and can change with updates, so treat them as approximate.
Is this site free, and is it official?
